Furniture Donation Guidelines

To ensure donated furniture is suitable for the individuals and families we serve, all items must be clean, structurally sound, and ready for use.

We cannot accept furniture with:

• Bedbugs or other pest infestations.

• Mold or significant water damage.

• Strong smoke, pet, or other persistent odors.

• Excessive stains or soiling.

• Broken frames, missing essential parts, or unsafe structural damage.

All furniture donations are subject to review and approval based on condition, available space, transportation, and current community needs.

CityWide Impact reserves the right to decline donations, including items that do not meet these guidelines upon inspection.
